Our mission is to bring the best in education to schools of the United Arab Emirates.

Our roots

Sage Educational Consultants was established by Ms Savitri Sreevalsan in July 2010. Sage has developed a repertoire of technical expertise, rich communication skills and partnered with unparalleled brands and organizations with a singular focus - to understand, analyze and fundamentally improve students’ understanding as well as their overall development. All of this while supporting teachers with intrinsic training programs and offering career counseling to students as well. Over 100 UAE schools have associated with Sage for quality educational research and capacity building programs. The Knowledge and Human Development Authority, Dubai and the UAE Ministry of Education have entrusted Sage with assessment services.

Our Milestones

Started with just two schools in 2005 (for ASSET)
In 2010, Sage was set up as an independent educational consultancy
Represents Educational Initiatives in the UAE
Liaised with the schools and with the Educational Authorities across the UAE

Conducted ASSET Talent Search over the last 5 years and made it successful in UAE
Assessed 8000 academically gifted students at the second level of ASSET
Conducted Dubai’s Most Gifted program at GEMS Modern Academy
Associated with Skill Angels, a cognitive skills enhancement program set to transform classrooms for the 21st Century learners

Invited by the KHDA to help administer the TIMSS Main study for the Emirate of Dubai in 2019
Completed the TIMSS project successfully and handed in the reports ahead of time
Liaised with Mindler, a world-class career guidance portal that provides the world’s most-advanced career assessment and helps students find their best-fit career
Invited by the KHDA to help administer to the PIRLS Field Trial in 2020
Marks the first venture by Sage into the Training space by offering a structured program in leadership and classroom management
Introduced STEM/STREAM for schools

Ms. Savitri Sreevalsan

Founder/CEO

Savitri has set Sage on a course to help schools develop strategies and educational experiences to engender new thinking skills to students so that they become lifelong learners. This is what will help lay a proper foundation for students’ success, engagement with life, leadership and world citizenship.

Priya Shivakumar

Head, Training and Academics

Priya provides academic support to the Sage Team. Having 17 years of experience in teaching and training, she is passionate about bringing out a change in the way learning happens in the classroom with a more thought-provoking, challenging and engaging atmosphere for children. The mantra always remains "World is full of opportunities to learn and keep your mind open to it".Outside work, she loves nature, animals, music, and gardening. Aims to be part of an NGO for animals and aspire to be a Toastmaster.

Robin has 4+ years of experience in education sector and excellent in customer relationship management with very good hands on customer retention.

Aakash Ravindranath

Admin and Logistics Manager

Admin wizard, technical expert, go-to-person in an emergency all rolled into one, Aakash’s organisational and logistical expertise are invaluable additions to the Sage team. Aakash is a keen photographer and nature lover and spends his free time documenting these on film.

Umamaheswari Ramasubramanian

Executive Assistant

Uma is a qualified intermediate Cost Accountant with a Master’s in Business Administration (Finance) to complement. She has prior experience of working in Accounts payables, reconciliations and foreign exchange across various MNCs in India and in Kuwait. At SAGE, she is responsible for the invoicing, other accounts and operation related roles. As an art enthusiast, she dedicates her free time to her passion towards colors and mediums.
